The Mono Nuñez folkloric music festival that kicks off in Cali on June 3 will honor three of Colombia’s greatest musicians ever.
During the 37th edition of the four-day festival, the spotlight will be on Jorge Villamil, Álvaro Romero on Eduardo Vergara, all widely recoginzed for their contribution to the development of Colombia’s folkloric music.
28 music acts, all from Colombia, will perform during the festival.
The acts will be competing for the annual award for the best respresentative of traditional music.
