Authorities have implemented extra security measures because of
elections within political parties Polo Democratico, Partido de la U
and the Conservative Party this weekend.
Bogotá Police deployed an extra 750 policemen to boost security where they expect the highest concentration of voters; Unicentro, Ciudad BolivarCorferias and Kennedy.
In all Colombia it is prohibited to carry firearms until Monday.
