Suspected members of Colombia’s largest guerrilla group FARC carried out bomb attacks in two Colombian departments Thursday morning, several media reported.
The first attack occurred when suspected rebels from the FARC’s 33rd Front detonated three explosives at an army training base La Plata, in a rural area of the west Colombian Huila department.
In the second attack rebels detonated two explosives on the Cañon Limon – Coveñas oil pipeline in the Norte de Santander department. This attack came less than 72 hours after a similar FARC attack on the Petronorte oil infrastructure.
No fatalities have been reported from either attack, according to Caracol Radio.
The commander of the Huila Army, General Henry Willian Torres, is in the area to investigate damage to the army base.
