Contrary to popular belief, porn star Esperanza Gomez is not the first Colombian to have tried her luck in the American adult movie business. Actress “Lupe Fuentes” beat her to it.
Fuentes, who was born in the city of Cali as Zuleydy Piedrahita, has been active in the Spanish porn industry since 2006 and made her move to the U.S. porn business in June 2009, three months before Gomez announced that decision.
The 23-old Piedrahita signed with the adult-video production company of porn actress Tera Patrick in 2009, but moved to competitor Wicked Pictures after marrying Patrick’s now ex-husband, Biohazard singer Evan Seinfeld.
According to the Internet Adult Film Database, “Zuleidy” has performed in nine porn flicks to date. According to Wikipedia, Gomez made 21 movies in the same time.
