Fans had been eagerly expecting news since the announcement of her pregnancy to the Mexican edition of famous fashion page-turner Cosmipolitan a few weeks ago.

Rumors of a possible second pregnancy for Shakira began to make their rounds in the press and online social media after photos taken at this years World Cup in Brasil revealed a tell-tale bump on the singer.

Shakira Isabel Mebarak was born in Barranquilla on the Colombian Caribean coast in 1977 and has had great success as a singer worldwide.

She was recently rated as one of the world’s most influential women by the Forbes list in May of this year along with Colombia’s Sofia Vergara.
