Hollywood actors nominated Colombian actress Sofia Vergara for a SAG award for her role in the ABC sitcom “Modern Family.”
Vergara received the nomination in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.
Others in this category are Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Tina Fey (30 rock), Jany Lynch (Glee) and Betty White (Hot in Cleveland).
The nomination is Vergara’s second within 24 hours: on Wednesday she was nominated for a Golden Globe award, also for her role in “Modern Family.”
