The northwestern state of Antioquia on Sunday elected the beauty queen who will be vying to become the next Miss Colombia in November.
The new Miss Antioquia is Paola Builes, a 20-year-old Communications student.

The 21-year-old Architecture student Natalia Ochoa ended second.
The election was held on the final night of the annual Medellin flower festival, one of the city’s most important cultural events.
Builes will be one of the dozens of representatives from Colombia’s 32 states who will prepare for Miss Colombia, held on November 11 in Cartagena.
