Deportes Quindio are the only team to have won their opening game in the Liga Postobon group phase, beating Atletico Nacional 2-1 in Medellin. All other games ended undecided.

The action started on Saturday with a spectacular game between Deportes Tolima and Santa Fe in Ibague.

Wilmer Diaz put Tolima in the lead after 30 minutes but Cristian Nazarith turned things around with goals in the 53rd and 56th minutes.

Just when Santa Fe thought it had the win practically secured, Wilder Medina made it 2-2 in the 87th minute. Medina could have won the game in added time but his lob over goalkeeper Julio hit the right post.

In the other match of the day, La Equidad and Atletico Huila held each other to a goalless draw.

Deportes Quindio traveled to Medellin to face Atletico Nacional, and scored the opening goal through Hilton Murillo in the 29th minute. Leider Preciado doubled the gap in the 84th, and David Cordoba’s goal for 2-1 in added time came too late for Nacional.

The home side had been a man down since the 70th minute, when Jairo Palomino received a second yellow card.

Once Caldas and Cucuta Deportivo faced off in Sunday’s late game, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

The next round of games takes place on Wednesday, November 24, with all matches kicking off at 8PM local time.
