Colombian artists have been nominated in eight categories for the Latin Grammy Awards to be held November 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada, newspaper Terra informs.
Diomedes Diaz, El Binomio de Oro, Poncho Zuleta, Omar Geles and Jorge Oñate have been nominated for the best Cumbia/Vallenato album.
Santiago Cruz has been nominated for best vocal album for “Cruz de caminos” and Guayacan Orquesta has been nominated for best salsa album for “Bueno y mas.”
Colombian artists have also been nominated in the category for best christian album, best folklore album and best tropical song.
