Defending champions Independiente Medellin host Copa Colombia champions Santa Fe in their first match of the season, while Millonarios host Atletico Nacional at El Campin stadium in the capital city.
Another potential top clash is that of America de Cali versus vice-champions Atletico Huila.
The first big derby of the year takes place in the second weekend, as Nacional host Medellin at Atanasio Girardot.
Match day 9 (March 21) includes the biggest clashes, with Cali hosting America, Medellin facing Nacional and Santa Fe meeting with Millonarios.
The Copa Postobon is the new name of Colombia’s top flight in soccer, as soda producer Postobon succeeded Mustang (tobacco) as main sponsor for the tournament.
