200 prisoners participate in hungerstrike

The protesters argument that it is against the law they are extradited without trial in Colombia. Some of the extradited claim to already have served sentence inside Colombia, only to be trialled for the same crime again abroad. In a statement they also say that many of the extradited should be trialled in Colombia, since the crimes were committed inside the country and fall under national jurisdiction.The National Prison Institute (Inpec) responded they had not changed policy because of the hungerstrike.
