2 policemen dead in FARC attack

An ambush by Colombia’s largest guerrilla group, the FARC, has on Tuesday left two policemen dead in southwestern Colombia.

Responding to a call in the area the police patrol suffered a fatal attack from the guerrillas in the Saladoblanco municipality in the Huila department.

The attack lead to the deaths of Andres Felipe Londoño and Diego Fernando Saavedra Pastrana. Officer Jorge Eliecer Londoño, who drove the patrol was injured in the crossfire.
