17.000 children in Bogotá forced to child labor

Luisa Fernanda Manosalva, District Project Coordinator of Child labour exploitation in Bogotá, says that the most difficult thing is to convince parents that do work for children is a crime: “Usually the parents have been in the same situation and worked since the age of five. For this reason they believe working is part of education.”
