13 die in north Colombia helicopter crash (video)

Thirteen members of Colombia’s armed forces died in the north of Colombia Monday when the helicopter they were flying in caught fire and crashed.

The helicopter, a Bell 212, reportedly caught fire while flying from the city of Barranquilla to the city of Caucasia and crashed in the municipality of Sabanagrande, Atlentico.

According to an Air Force press release, seven members of the Air Force and six policemen were killed. None of the men on board survived the crash.

Investigators of the Air Force were sent to the location of the tragedy to determine the cause of the accident.
